High-energy, real-world Microsoft training, the kind that comes from years in the trenches, a home-lab that looks like a command centre, and a genuine obsession with making complex tech feel simple.

About me

The human behind the headset.

What I do

I’m Rob, a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Community Lead who lives and breathes Microsoft 365, Azure, security, identity, and modern workplace. I build real labs, teach with real stories, and obsess over the details that matter in production, not just what looks good in a slide deck.

My thing is empowering others: new trainers, career-switchers, and engineers who want to go deeper and get confident.

How I got here

I’ve spent decades grafting, studying after work, building home labs, and chasing mastery. At one point I even swapped the motorbike commute for a slow coach so I could study for hours a day, for years. That’s the energy I bring to every class: focused, practical, and relentlessly supportive.

The secret to my success is consistency, that's the key, showing up and making a difference. I'm not special, I just put the time and effort in, you can too.'

Beyond tech

I’m Margate/Kent born and recently got back into the sea life, I joined Margate Yacht Club and completed RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 1 & 2, crewed in races (yes, we won), and I’m working towards bigger goals on the water. The sea is unforgiving, and I love the responsibility that comes with learning it properly.

I’m also a lifelong motorcycle rider. Full UK bike licence since 1996, mostly Honda sports bikes (multiple Fireblades over the years). No car licence… and no car. Two wheels is the way.
